Mikey's Friends

When we were at home it was a lot of fun to introduce Mikey to my friends' babies that are around his age.  It will be so nice when he is older to be able to take him home and have friends to play with.  He met my friend, Franny's, little boy first.  Colt is 9 month old and a growing machine just like Mikey.  They started at eachother, Colt babbled and Mikey smiled, then Mikey would babble and Colt would smile.  It was a lot of fun, they were so cute together.  I can't wait until Mikey is old enough to play with Colt!

This was really the first time I had seen him acknowledge another baby.  He has seen Hartley a bunch of times, but he was never really payed attention to her because he was in his own baby world.  Since we have been back he sees her and is interested in her.  I can't wait for them to start playing!

When we were home Mikey also met Tyler, my friend, Kaitlyn's, little boy.  Tyler is 6 months old and VERY mobile.  He is already crawling and was very interested in Mikey.  He smiled at him and grabbed his overalls.  He kept wanting to touch his face too, it was cute.  Mikey was interested for a few seconds, but then got grouchy because it was nap time.  Tyler started fussing a little too, so they both took naps.  They same thing happend the second time they saw eachother, I guess they will have to be nap buddies.

Tyler's older sister, Lindsay, just turned 2 and was all about Mikey.  She was so cute, she kept calling him "TyTy" because he is a baby boy just like her brother.  She wanted to hold him so we put him on her lap.  She is so gentle and sweet with babies, she even shared her toys and gave him his paci. 

Just the other day we decided to go to the Gun Show...because that's what people in OK do...and there is literally nothing else to do in Lawton.  We didn't want to take Mikey so we dropped him off with Sam.  She is a saint, she was by herself with Hartley (7 months) and Mikey for a while and she took some adorable pictures.  She is such an awesome friend!
