Baltimore Trip

Aunt Maddi graduated from the University of Maryland last month, so Mikey and I went out to see it all happen!  There will be another blog post soon about her graduation, but this one is about our time in B'more.  

We hopped on a plane the Saturday before her graduation and the fattest person on the plane sat next to us.  This wouldn't have been so bad if I was not already sharing my seat with Mr. Wiggleworm, but now I was also sharing my seat with Tubby McFatF***.  It also wouldn't have been nearly as bad had she not smelled like straight up cat urine.  We were by the window so there was really nowhere to escape to and I started having some serious claustrophobia.  It got so bad that I was having a hard time breathing and that RARELY happens.  Anyways, after 3 hours of being a sardine we finally landed in Baltimore.

After the graduation ceremony we headed back to B'more to go out to dinner.  ZZ Top was playing a concert literally right outside of our hotel.  Hotel guests brought out chairs and sat across the water to enjoy the concert for free!  It was so awesome!   We took a water taxi over to the restaurant that was right across the harbor.  We were staying in such a beautiful part of Baltimore.  As we walked home from dinner ZZ Top was on, so Bill and I caught the end of the concert. Those guys haven't changed at all!

Maddi had her departmental graduation the next morning, so afterwards we decided to walk around in B'more.  We had seen a cute little play area, so we took Mikey to burn off some energy.  Since he decided not to nap or go to bed until midnight the entire time we were gone he laid down on Papa Bill during a little play break.  That boy LOVES Bill!
